【Abstract】 A white-colored grossular was discovered in the Poshan iron mining district, Shahe County, Hebei Province. It occurs as compact massive grains within lime-skarn lumps in a biotite diorite and is associated with melanite, andradite, wollastonite, vesuvianite, diopside and other grossulars. It is hypautomorphic granular in form with grain size ranging from 5 to 40mm. Presented in this paper are its physical properties, chemical composition, X-ray diffraction data and IR absorption spectrum.更多还原
