【Abstract】 It has been reported that Liquid crystals exist in human bile,and thatthere is some relationship between the appearance of the liquid crystals andgallstones.The observation by means of cross polarizing microscope on thebile of pig and chicken was carried out.Through the comparison between theresult from the above observation and that from the observation on the chole-rythrin gallstone-associated bile and cholesterol gallstone-associated bile ofhuman being,some similarities and differences were found.Thus furtherknowledge is obtained about the formation and nature of liquid crystals inbile and about the relationship between liquid crystals in bile and gallstone.更多还原
