【Abstract】 A preliminary study of photosynthetic character in Zhongsansa 302/ WU Shou-peng*et al//Journal of Jiangsu Forestry Science & Technology -1990,17(4).-9-12This is a preliminary report regarding the photosynthetic activities of three clonal selection, named’Zhongsan’301, 302, and 401, resulted from interspecific hybridization between Taxodium mucronatum, T. ascendens, and T. distichum. All hybrids possess characteristics of fast growing, and tolerance to damp and alkaline habitats. Experimental results manifested that all hybrids are intermediate types so far as photosynthetic activities are concerned,the genetic influence of the male parent was greater than that of the female ones. The peak of the photosynthetic activities appeared when the air temperature attained 25 c.
