【Abstract】 Heat pipes are seldom used in the field of the waste heat recovery in the middle tempererature range. The main reason is that the working medium used in the heat pipes is still being researched. The Dowtherm heat pipe suggested in this paper is used in the heat-pipe heat exchangers to recover weste heat in the middle temperature range from exhaust gas for the bus heating.
