【Abstract】 From 1978 to 1989 We have observed and monitored giant Pandas at Wuyipeng stud area in Wolong Natural Reserve. Each giant panda in the herd has been carefully recorded. In 1983 Bashania fangiana died off, which had an influence on Wuyipeng herd′s number. Before the bamboo′s dying-off the sum total was 16. After that it reduced to 14. But it has in creased to 16 now owing to the stability of the herd structure.so bamboo′s dying-off at Wuyipeng had a little influence on giant pandas.And it can be inferred from above that we should protect their habit, prohibit hunting and catching giant pandas in order to conserve them at Wuyipeng.更多还原
