【Abstract】 The phenotypes of α1-antitrypsin (α1-AT)from 749 normal persons and 414 patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (CGPD) during acute stage were determined by polyacrylamide gel isoelectricfocusing electrophoresis; and the levels of serum α1-AT in some of them including 151 normal persons and 180 patients were also determined by monophasic immunodiffusion. The results showed that (1) compared with the control group, the gene frequencies common variant gene found is PiEtokyo, while PiZ and PiS which are relatively frequent in white population have not been observed. (2)The levels of α1- AT in patients with COPD are significantly higher than that in control group. (3)The levels of α1-AT in normal heterozygotes are significantly higher than that in normal homozygtes, while the phenomena are not shown in the patients group.更多还原
