【Abstract】 This article will try to find these relationship among the mineral content of radiusand the mandible as well as the severity of resorption of the residual ridge of the edent-ulous.56 edentulous patients were selected.For every subject the mineral content of themandible and the right radius were measured by gamma photon absorptiometry.The results were as follows:1.Gamma photon absorptiometry is a good method tomeasure the mineral content of the edentulous mandible.2.Both the bone density of themandible and the radius decreased with advancing age.3.Osteoporosis plays a role in theatrophy of the residual ridge of the edentulous.更多还原
