三氯化铝在氯化法钛白工艺中晶型转化机理的研究
STUDY ON THE MECHANISM OF AlCl3 PROMOTING TiO2 CRYSTAL CONVERSION IN CHLORIDE ROUTE PIGMENT PRODUCTION
【摘要】 应用SOLGAS软件测算了氯化法钛自工艺中TiCl4的氧化体系以及不同条件下热化学平衡产物的种类和组成。为验证该计算的结果,对氧化产物TiO2粒子中元素铝的分布进行了测定,并据此讨论了氧化过程中AlCl3的晶型转化作用以及AlCl3加入量与氧化工艺条件的关系。
【Abstract】 The chloride route production is an important technology to produce futile-type TiO2. In order to form futile-type TiO2 during the oxidation process of TiCl4, AlCl3 is added into the TiCl4 as a crystal conversion agent of TiO2 before the oxidation reaction of TiCl4. This paper calculates the thermochemical composition of TiCl4 oxidation system using a SOLGAS program under different conditions. It has been found that some Al2O3·TiO2 is formed under a specified condition. To confirm the calculated results, the profile of element Al in a TiO2 particle produced in a domestic chloride plant is measured. Differing from TiO2 of Du Pont R902, the element Al has not been detected in the centre area of the TiO2 particle made in the domestic chloride plant. Based on the calculation and the profile of element A1 in TiO2 particles, the mechanism of AlCl3 promoting TiO2 crystal conversion and the quantity of AlCl3 in TiCl4 at certain conditions are discussed.
