【Abstract】 In this letter, we report a novel bistable optical device composed merely of a laser diode (or LED), two PIN photodetectors and several electronic components. The effect of hysterisis has been experimentally demonstrated. The operational modes of the device, such as optical memory, optical switching, optical pulse shaping have also been achieved. The operational principle, optoelectronic hybrid integrated, technique and characteristics of the present device are described.更多还原
