【Abstract】 The intensity enhancement of the light backscattered by a disordered medium can be considered as a coherent effect associated with the polarization properties of,the Iight.We have given the relationship between the degree of polarization P and the intensity enhancement factors E_∥and E_⊥ of the backseattered light hence the result of the enhancement of the polarization degree is obtained.The experimental curve of the degree of polarization via the angle around the backsc- attering direction has demonstrated the enhanced effect of the polarization of the backscattered light.We also discuss the partially polarized properties of the bac- kseattered light and the relation between the enhanced polarization effect and the coherent effect of the backscattered light.更多还原
