无序介质后向散射光的偏振增强效应

【摘要】 无序介质后向散射光的强度增强效应可以看作为一种与偏振性质有关的相干效应。我们给出后向散射光的偏振度 P 与两个强度增强的因子 E 和 E 的关系,从而得到偏振度增强结果。偏振度的实验曲线证实了后向散射光的偏振增强效应。我们还讨论了后向散射光的部分偏振性质以及偏振增强效应与相干效应之间的关系。

【Abstract】 The intensity enhancement of the light backscattered by a disordered medium can be considered as a coherent effect associated with the polarization properties of,the Iight.We have given the relationship between the degree of polarization P and the intensity enhancement factors E_∥and E_⊥ of the backseattered light hence the result of the enhancement of the polarization degree is obtained.The experimental curve of the degree of polarization via the angle around the backsc- attering direction has demonstrated the enhanced effect of the polarization of the backscattered light.We also discuss the partially polarized properties of the bac- kseattered light and the relation between the enhanced polarization effect and the coherent effect of the backscattered light.
