【Abstract】 This paper presents a simple and feasible method for calculating the volume of equalization basin. For given rate and quality of wastewater inflow, the volume of the equalization basin calculated by this method can meet the requirement that the effluent is of uniform flowrate with pollutant, concentration within the allowable limit.
