【Abstract】 The dielectric characteristics "ladder—man" composit gape under switching impulse are presented for live line work on first generation 500kV ZV₁ towers and second generation 500kV ZV₂ towers in this paper. It also describes the comparison of discharge characteristics of six kinds of protection gapes, setting of distance of protection gapes and coordination and determination of safe distance. Some conclusions are drawn out, which provides the reliable data for live work.更多还原
