【Abstract】 A new technology for preparing cationic starch by electromagnetic dry process and electromagnetic synthsis (EMS) installation is reported in this paper. The properties of the cationic starch prepared by this method overtakes those prepared by the wet method and this technology is suitable for preparing the cationic starch with a higher substitution degree (D. S) and ζ-electric potential. The specical features of electromagnetic dry process and the mechanism of this reaction process are also briefly disscussed.更多还原
