【Abstract】 This study was designed to investigate the influence of nitrate on goitrogenicity in case of different level of iodine supply in mice.The result showed that high intake of nitrate had goitrogenic effect and the effect could be reversed by high iodine. So, in precaution of endemic goitre caused by low iodine, the iodine content in the iodine salt may be increased if nitrate level is higher in environment.更多还原
