【Abstract】 In this paper,a formal definition of deriving the qualitative beha- vior description of a system from the qualitative structure and initial state of the system is given,and a new qualitative simulation algorithm QSIM~* is proposed.The QSIM~* not only can predict the unknown landmark values of some parameters in a system,but also can derive their correspondences. Finally,the paper demonstrates the application of QSIM~* to a simple spring system.更多还原
