【Abstract】 In this paper, the Xiu Yan earthquake swarm which occurred in January and February,1988, have been analysed. We have found that this earthquake swarm possesses some featureswhich are stable and concentrated epicentral location, obvious periodicity of seismicity, slow en-ergy release and better linear relationship between maximum vertical amplitude of p waveand S wave. Comparing with the fore-shock Series of the Haicheng earthguake. there existsobvious difference for them It is considered that the Xiu yan earthguake swarm has not pro-perties, of pre-earthquake.更多还原
