聚合物基复合材料界面剪切强度的测试
A MEASURE OF THE INTERFACIAL SHEAR STRENGTH BETWEEN THE FIBER AND THE POLYMER MATRIX BY ACCOUSTIC EMISSION
【摘要】 用声发射技术确定纤维断裂的位置,从而决定纤维断裂段的长度分布。采用含有单纤维丝的聚合物基复合材枓试件,应用细观力学模型,根据纤维断裂段的长度,确定纤维和基体之间的界面剪切强度。这种方法适用于不透明的复合材料基体,有可能用来测定金属基和陶瓷基复合材料的界面剪切强度。
【Abstract】 This paper describes the application of an acoustic emission(AE)techniquefor locating the positions of fiber breaks,and thus determing the length distribution of thefiber fragments resulting when a composite specimen containing a single fiber is loaded tofailure.Using a micromechanical model,it is possible to determine a measure of theinterfacial shear strength between the fiber and the matrix from the fragmentation lengths.The acoustic measurements can be used with fibers embedded in a non-transparent matrixsuch as metal and ceramic matrix materials.
