KDP倍频晶体最佳长度的研究
Research on SHG Optimal Length KDP Crystal
【摘要】 简单分析了现有关于倍频晶体最佳长度理论的实用意义。用精加工,严格Ⅱ类角度匹配的八块不同长度的 KDP 晶体,测定了它们对重复频率普通 Q 开关 YAG激光的倍频效果。得到倍频 KDP 晶体最佳长度为37±1mm。基频能量60mJ,脉宽14ns时,能量转换效率为23.9%,功率转换效率为34.5%。实验发现,最佳长度的晶体其转换效率随基频能量增加而增加的速度最快。
【Abstract】 The applicability of theory about SHG optimal crystal length has been briefly analyzed eval- uated.AT an ordinary Q—switch Nd,YAG laser,the efficiency of SHG was tested with 8 KDP sam- ples differentin length which were processed strictly on type Ⅱ phasematching.The result is that when the SHG optimal length of KDP is 37mm,the corresponding conversion efficiency rises to 23.9% and the power conversion effciency to 34.5% if the fundamental frequency is 60mj.It was also fuond in our experimental conditions that the conversion efficiency varies most quickly as the fundamental in- tensity increases when the crystal has the optimal length.
