【Abstract】 The importance of adopting microfilm in the library of the Beijing Institute of Physical Education (BIPE) was stressed. Although it is only five years since the new library was build, its book collecting rooms are almost saturated; books and magzines published before liberation are severely demaged and are urgent to be rescued.
