【Abstract】 In this paper, we established the mathematical model of optimun chooing of main gear ration of the motor cars, on the basis of the engine, vehicle parameters. and some transmition parameters In this model we took the fuel economy performances as the contrained condions.We also programmed by using a optimunmethod of the random test andseveral typical motor cars were calculated by thecomputer.
