【Abstract】 From 1955 to 1983, 105 patients with Gushing’s disease were treated by combination therapy (adrenalectomy+ radiotherapy of pituitary) or radiotherapy alone at PUMC hospital. Conventional pituitary radiotherapy was a safe and effective method for the treatment of Gushing’s disease.The rates of complete and partial remission were 60% and 11.4%, respectively. The rates of recurrence and ineffectiveness were 13.3% and 15.2%, respectively.No serious complications were found. The method of radiation technique, the effect and prognosis are discussed.更多还原
