【Abstract】 Determination of paeonol contained in the traditional Chinese drug moutan cortex by capillary GC was presented. Calibration graph linear in the detected range and recovery was 99.28% (CV% 2.6, n=5). The paeonol contents in P.suffruticosa obtained from different territories were detected and were agreeable with those obtained by direct-steam distillation-UV method and HPLC method.
