【Abstract】 The structure features and mechanical properties of ten PET film speci-mens used for magnetic tape were investigated.Some of the film specimenswere found to be the so-called“balanced films”which do not have high stre-ngth in the longitudinal direction.The influences of molecular weight,de-gree of crystallinity and orientation on the properties of PET film werediscussed.Refractive index and birefringence were suggested to characterizethe orientation of film specimens in technological experiments of PET“unba-lanced films”.更多还原
