【Abstract】 In this paper, the principle of mathematical modelling methodology is briefly reviewed. The general solving strategy and the architecture of an expert system for con- structing mathematical model of system are discussed. Then we mainly describe the develop- ment of an Expert Mathematical Modelling System-EMMS,which is used to construct mathematical model for continuous system. Based on the features of modelling life cycle, we propose a solving strategy which is characterized by multi-level, mixture of multiple infer- ence methods, and feedback loop. Finally, an example is presented to demonstrate the modelling process of EMMS.更多还原
