【Abstract】 In the presence of sodium acetate, 8-hydroxyquinoline reacts with lanthanide chloride to form (QL)2REO2CCH3(QL: 8-hydroxyquinoline, RE: La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb ). Thermostability of these complexes is higher than that of (dbm)2REO2CCH . The magnetic susceptibility (Xm) and μeff of these complexes show that they change periodically with two maxima of μeffas the atomic number of lanthanides (Z) increases. The IR absorption spectra were determined within a range of 4000-100 cm . A correlation of RE-O bond vibration frequencies with the ionic potential was obtained.更多还原
