【Abstract】 In 1962,Hildebrand and Scott according to experiments have sum- marily proposed:“The fact is that a plot of log x₂ vs.log T gives absolutely straight lines in the region where x₂<0.1”.In orther words, the experiences shows that for the solubility x₂ of regular solution of which the solute is in the solid or gaseous state,that is to say,is t- he regular solubility,a plot of log x₂ vs.log T has a liner relation within x₂<0.1.This rule can be called the empirical rule of regular solubility.This arcticle mainly derived an approximate formula（12） of regular solubility according to the basic equations of thermodynam- ics,and therefore for the empirical ruel atheoretical explanation has been obtained,and the exactitude of formula（12）has been examined by practically calculating.更多还原
