【Abstract】 Suzhou District located on downstream of Lake Taihu With an integral system of rivers, lakes and shall lakes is a typical plain river -net area.In this paper some major hydrographical characteristics-shape, Precipitation, runoff, groundwater, and water qnality-have been selected and analyzed respectively.
