【Abstract】 The paper describes a hybrid method for determination of the stress intensity factors and the whole field stresses which combines both the classical photoelasticity and the modern method of weighted residuals. The bounary conditions given from th: uhotoelastic experiments are used in solving the problems. The experiments of me photoelasticity and the numerical techniques of the least-squares collocation method hav; been performed on two typical spesimens of the opening-mode and mixed-mode by using the hybrid method. Comparison between the experimental and theoretical results shows that errors are within the general engineering requirement.更多还原
