【Abstract】 The Jackknifing method is introduced for estimating the dispersion indeces of animal populations.Compared with usual parametric estimation methods,the method can reduce error of estimation and give fiducial interval.Therefore the defects of usual estimation can be overcomed.It founds a basis for dispersion indeces being accurately and reasonably applied to research of spatial pattern of animal populations.
