低温等离子体惰化色谱硅藻土担体
Inactivation of Diatomite Support for Gas Chromatography with Plasma
【摘要】 <正> 低温等离子体具有很强的激发化学反应和处理表面的能力。国外已用于色谱填料表面改性,我们也曾用作制备色谱键合固定相。 利用低温等离子体中的自由基,可以在气相中实现分子链的增长、转移、复合及终止等基元反应、形成惰性聚合物薄膜附着在硅藻土表面,或自由基与硅藻土表面的活性点(如硅醇基)结合,以覆盖其表面的活性点及堵塞其不利于传质的毛细微孔,达到惰化硅藻土的目的。
【Abstract】 Using CH4, n-C7H18, C2F4, C3F8, (CH3)2 SiCl2 and CH4/CF4 (1:1 by volume), the inac-tivation of diatomite support for gas chroma-tography with plasma was studied. The chroma-tographic properties of all supports treated with the above substances have been improved, especially with CH4 and CH4/CF4(l:l). The diatomite support treated with plasma using CH4 or CH4/CF4 (1:1) was compared with the AW-DMCS-treated diatomite support according to the traditional silanization technique. Their chroma-tographic properties, such as, peak height, width and symmetry are superior to those of the AW-DMCS-treated diatomite support except that itsrelative retention value is slightly higher.The inert coating of the diatomite support treated with plasma using CH4/CF4(1:1) was studied by IR, XPS, TG, DSC and elementary analysis.
