【Abstract】 Urban forestry, as a new discipline of forestry, is introduced in five ca-tegories. The substances and range it deals with, relative ordinances, va-luation of city trees, management of street trees, and education and re- searches in U.S.A. have gotten more detail description. The researchesin urban forestry focus on three major aspects, including management ofurban forest, individual tree care, and ecology of urban forest. City’sarea supports enough trees to meet conventional defillition of "Forest".The urban forest function on reducing "the effect of green house" will beone of the important topics. With population growing and city area ex-tending in the world, the urban forestry will be an important branch oftraditional forestry.更多还原
