【Abstract】 This paper examined the microstructure and composition of the thin bronze sticks and bronze wires produced in Qin dynasty.It is conclued from the results and archaeological references that Chinese technicians had mastered certain technology of alloying, beat—treating and forging as early as in Qin dynasty. The processes of making bronze sticks and bronze wires are: Copper and tin are alloyed and cast into bronze planks.The planks are annealed at high temprature and forged into thin sheets, which are subsequently cut into bronze sticks and bronze wires.更多还原
