【Abstract】 The papar has studied Synthesis of 2-methyleicosanoic acid from 1-octadecanol and lubrity of product, 1-octadecanol and glacial acetic acid after esterification gave the octadecyl acetate, then was pyroted to obtain 1-octadecene, with yield was 78%. 1-octadecene and propanoic acid by free-radical addition gave 2-methyleicosanoic acid, with yield was 45%, Lubricity of product prevail over the oleic acid, and its foamability is much low than the oleic acid.更多还原
