Conditions and Controls of the Growth of Single Crystal Fibers
【摘要】 本文研究了激光加热小基座生长法(LHPC)生长单晶光纤过程中激光功率,送料速度、提拉速度对单晶光纤质量的影响。在实验误差范围内实验结果与理论计算相一致。文章还给出了速度比与熔区长度关系的实验曲线,基于熔区对激光功率变化与对速比变化的响应时间不同,提出了功率过渡控制与速度长期控制相结合的晶纤直径自动控制设想。
【Abstract】 The effects of the laser power,feeding speed and pullingspeed on the growth of single crystal fibers in the laser heated pedestalgowth(LHPG)technique have been studied.It is found that the experimentalresults on the relationships between the laser power and the feeding speedunder steady growth conditions are in agreement with those of theoreticalcalculations within the range of experimental errors.Experimental curves for the relationships between the feeding speed-to-pulling speed ratio and the length of melting zone are presented.Basedon the fact that the melt has different response times to the changes of thelaser.power and speed ratio,an idea for autocontrolling the fiber diameter bycombining the transitive control of laser power with the long period controlof speed ratio are proposed.
