【Abstract】 Based on the observations of the vertical distribution of the tidal currents conducted by tha authers using simple methods during the joint survey of the Yellow River Estuary by SCO (now OUQ) , Oregon State University of the USA and other institutions, this paper compares the data collected with the computations obtained by using a theoretical distribution formula for shallow seas. The distribution of the values of the roughness Z0 in this area has been computed for the first time. The relationship between the vertical distribution of the maximum tidal current and the relative roughness parameter and its applications have also been studied.更多还原
