【Abstract】 In 30 rabbits autologous auricular perichondrial grafts are transplanted to thedenuded patellar surface. The results of macro-and-microscopic observations areas follows: <1> the transplanted perichondrium is able to form a new jointsurface; <2> the regenerative process of the perichondrial graft can be dividedinto 4 stages, i. e. graft, adhesion, union and mature stages; <3> the regenera-tive cartilage obtains the nutrition through the blood clot, synovial vessel,nutrient vessel of patella and synovial fluid.
