【Abstract】 Huangmen Coal mine at Sanmenxia city in Henan province extracts high seams. Retreating system was used. Actual mining roadways were supported by timbering before. It is difficult to drive and maintain actual mining roadways because of soft surrounding rocks aud heavy rock pressure. Actual mining roadways are maintained frequently soon after driving. In order to solve problems mentioned above, Coal Science Institute of Henan Province and Huangmen coal mine put advancing system of high seam and gob roadways to trial, and achieve the desired results. The results include output of 140000 t ROM, saving of timber 1500 m~3 and saving of 500000-600000 Yuan RMB.The paper describes conditions of trial face mining procedure and adopting technical measures and analysing observation results of rock pressure.更多还原
