【Abstract】 4-year study was made on persimmon resources of Hunan, involving the observation of morphological features and growth development of all related species and varieties and the analyses of nutritious substances, peroxide of isoenzyme, chromosome and karyotype of the fruit.It indicated that persimmon resources of Hunan could be summed up into 8 main types with 27 species or varieties.It was also argued that persimmon was originated from southwest Hunan.Finally, some constructive suggestions were put forward for the exploitation and utilization of persimmon resources更多还原
