【Abstract】 The mixed trimeric products N, N′-bis (2-hydroxybenzylidene) arylmethanedi-amines have directly been synthesized through the reaction between 2 mol ofsalicylaldehyde or its derivative and 1 mol of other aryl aldehydes in the presence ofammonium acetate or aqueous ammonia in methanol or methanol-ether. The mixedtrimeric reaction proposed by us possesses the advantage of being high yield, moreconveniently to carry out under mild condition. It is a new and simple route forsynthesizing this type of compounds.更多还原
