【Abstract】 In this paper, based on analyzing and comparing some typicalmethods of measuring temperature in drilling in the world, present a newmeasuring temperature method. This method may give simultaneously theinstantaneous temperatures of cutting edge on the drill and of the cut surfaceof the workpiece. By experiments, we obtain the distribution of the cuttingtemperature along the cutting edge, the curve of cutting temperature varyingwith cutting speed and feed.
