【Abstract】 A method for rapid determination of 137Cs in pollutant samples is presented in this paper. Sample solution passes directly through an exchanging cushion made from 0.5 g ammonium molybdophosphate (AMP) in which 137Cs is absorbed, β-activity of the cushion is determined with ordinary counter FH-408. The results show that the recoveries of 137Cs from 200 ml water and 5g soil samples were 95.1% and 87.5% respectively. The lowest determination limits for water and soil were 8.6 and 370 Bq/kg respectively. These meet the needs of determining 137Cs :n pollutant samples. The method is simple and convenient, meanwhile the result can be given within 3 hours.更多还原
