金超微粒子氧化的XPS研究

【摘要】 本工作利用 PVD(Physical Vapour Deposition)法制备了金超微粒子,在高分辨电镜下观察了它的粒度和形貌,利用 XPS 研究了金超微粒子在低压氧气中辉光放电氧化和常温常压下放置于氧气中自然氧化的行为.结果表明辉光放电氧化的金超微粒子表面存在多重金氧化态的氧化物,其中包括 Au(Ⅰ)氧化物,Au2O3,表面氢氧化物和以前未曾报导过的 Au 至 Au(Ⅰ)之间的氧化物.氧的种类有晶格氧,原子氧以及表面羟基形式存在的氧.

【Abstract】 In this work,ultrafine gold particles were prepared by PVD(Physical Vapour Deposition)method.High resolution electron microscopy was used to study its size and morphology,and XPS(X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy) was used to study its glow-discharge oxidation in oxygen at low pressure (0.1 torr)aud natural oxidation at room temperature and ordinary pressure. The results exhibit that the average diameter of ultrafine gold particles is 150(?),most particles show spherical shape,a few show icosahedron shape; multiple gold oxide states coexist on the surface of ultrafine gold particles which invole Au(Ⅰ)oxide,AutOs,and oxide between Au(0) and Au(Ⅰ)which has not been reported before.Lattice oxygen,atomic oxygen and surface hydroxyl are also found The gold oxides and absorption species of oxygen mentioned above may well concerned with catalytic oxidation property of ultrafine gold particles.
