【Abstract】 According to the researches on Jiancaogou formation of Upper Ordovician series in northern Guizhou and its adjacent areas, the sedimentary characteristics of Jiancaogou formation of Upper Ordovician series in this area are as follows: Ⅰ. The rock associations are monotonous: Jiancaogou formation is mainly warty marlite bearing bioclastic.Ⅱ. The characteristics of biological fauna are clear, with large numbers of Trilobites (Nankinolithus) and Folimena assemblages appearing in Jiancaogou formation.Therefore, the writer has used the result gained in studying sedimentary characteristics of Jiancaogou formation and the result computed by electronic computer to make an analysis of sedimentary environment of this formation, considering the sedimentary environment of Jiancaogou formation of Upper Ordovician series in this area as a carbonated platform sedimentary environment, with lower zone tided. There are some platform hollows in Jiancaogou and Banqiao of Zunyi, Honghuayuan of Tongzi and Guanyinoqiao of Qijiang, etc.更多还原
