钴对M42型超硬高速钢组织和性能的影响

【摘要】 研究了钴量从0~8 %对M42钢组织和性能的影响。钢的二次硬化能力和钴量呈线性关系,含8%Co的钢回火态硬度(HRC)比不含钴的钢提高1.5。相应地,钴也增加600℃以下的高温硬度。但钴并不增加600℃以上的抗回火软化性(红硬性)和高温硬度。不合钴和含8%Co的钢抗弯强度和冲击韧性较低,但中等钴含量的钢强韧性较好。钴增加铸态形成的棒状M2C碳化物的稳定性。文中还讨论了钴对组织和性能上述影响的机制。

【Abstract】 The influence of cobalt varying from 0% to 8% on structure and property of M42 steel hasbeen investigated. The ability of secondary hardening is proportional to cobalt content. The te-mpering hardness of steel containing 8% cobalt is 1.5 HRC higher than that of the cobaltfree one, and cobalt also raises hot hardness at temperature lower than 600℃. But cobalt doesn’tincrease the softening resistance (red hardness) and hot hardness (measurd eat high tempera-ture) at temperature higher than 600℃. The bending strength and impact tuohgness of steelswith 0% and 8% cobalt are lower than those with intermediate cobalt content. Cobalt increasesthe stability of M2C carbide formed during solidification. The mechanism of cobalt’s influencehas been discussed.
