【Abstract】 This paper develops the scientific approach of decision-making for optimum selection of engineering design schemes by means of fuzzy decisi-on-making theory and optimization method. Theapproach consists of technical economy comparison, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation of qualitative targets and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation of quantitative targets with respect to the engineering design schemes.
