美国Beckman公司和上海原子核所的3H 和14C液闪猝灭校正系列源的比较和评价
THE COMPARISON BETWEEN LIQUID SCINTILLATION QUENCHING STANDARD SETS PRODUCED BY BECKMAN INSTRUMENTS INC,AND SHANGHAI INSTITUTE OF NUCLEAR RESEARCH
【摘要】 本文比较了上海原子核所和美国 Beckman 公司的3H 和14C 猝灭校正系列源。对3H 猝灭系列源,原子核所和 Beckman 自身校正的偏差(给定的活度与校正后活度之差除以给定活度)相近,均值±(单次)标准差分别为-1.26±1.66%和1.08±1.96%(n=10);互校偏差略大,原子核所源校 Beckman 源的偏差均值士标准差为-2.63±1.52%(n=9),反之为2.47±1.67%。对14C猝灭系列源,上述四值分别为-0.13±1.1%和0.077±0.55%及0.25±0.93%和0.30±2.09%(n=10)。两单位的猝灭系列源有较好的一致性,且适于常规的仪器校正之用。
【Abstract】 The activity correction percent difference and coefficientof variation have been compared between two commercial liquid scintillationquenching standard sets,which were produced by Shanghai Institute ofNuclear Research(INR)in China and Beckman Instruments.Inc.in USA,respectively.The self-corrected and inter-corrected percent differences±standard deviation for 3H standard sets are -1.26±1.66%(INR-self),1.08±1.96%(Beckman-self),-2.63±1.52%(Beckman byINR)and 2.47±1.67%(INR by Beckman),respectively.The data asabove for 14C standard sets are -0.13±1.17%,0.07±0.55%,0.25±0.93%and-0.30±2.09%,respectively.The two manufacturers’ quenching standardsets are fit for routine correction in Liquid scintillation counter.
