嗜盐杆菌属两个新种的鉴定

【摘要】 对从福建省东石盐场晒盐池分离到的E9和E14两菌株进行了鉴定。结果表明,E9和E14两菌株均符合嗜盐杆菌属的特征,但与属中的已知种特征有较大的差别。它们不能从色氨酸产生吲哚,不产生H2S,利用的碳源种类也不相同;另外E9和E14两菌株在菌体、菌落的大小及在还原硝酸盐等方面也有区别。本文把E9菌株定名为东石盐杆菌(Halobacterium dongshiensis sp.nov.);E14菌株定名为晋江盐杆菌(Halobacterium jinjiangensis sp.nov.)。

【Abstract】 Strains E9 and E14 which are isolated from the Dongshi saltern pool are iden-tified. Both strains possess characters common to Halobacterium, but some othersdifferent from known species of Halobacterium. Neither strain can produce indoleand H2S. The type of utilization of carbon sources also differs. The two strains E9and E14 differ from each other in their cell size, diameter of colony and capabilityof nitrate reduction. Therefore, strains E9 and E14 are considered as two newspecies and named Halobacterium dongshiensis sp. nov. (E9) and Halobacterium jin-jiangensis sp. nov. (E14) respectively.
