鸭血烯酸钠对枯草杆菌的损伤作用

【摘要】 用鸭血烯酸钠处理对数生长后期的枯草杆菌,能使该菌细胞变得半透明并呈现出胞内的网络结构和致密颗粒。同时,细胞内的DNA和RNA等物质易于释放,而至细胞失活。从经鸭血烯酸钠处理过的细胞中可获得更多的紧密型质粒DNA分子。用鸭血烯酸钠和五氟尿嘧啶(5-Fu)同时处理枯草杆菌,可提高灭菌效果。

【Abstract】 The olefinic acid of the duck blood (DBOA) is an unsaturated fatty acid fromduck blood, causing marked change of the structure of the young Bacillus subtiliscells. After treatment the cells became hyaline and granular and interior networkcould be seen. Intracellular materials such as RNA and DNA were dischargedfrom the cells. However, DBOA alone could not kill old B. subtilis. Combined useof DBOA and 5-FU gave even better results. Thus, it seems that the main func-tion of DBOA is to change surface structures of the cell, allowing easy exchangesof materials of the cell with the medium. The more compact type plasmid DNAmolecules can be obtained from cells treated by DBOA.
