长白山天池火山活动区土氡含量测量结果初步分析
PRELIMINARY ANALYSIS OF RADON-IN-SOIL IN TIANCHI VOLCANIC AREA IN CHANGBAI MOUNTAIN, JILIN PROVINCE
【摘要】 通过对本区的土氡含量测量和初步分析,长白山天池火山活动区土氡含量在空间分布上具有一定规律,虽然观测点布没在不同海拔高度的地理地貌和不同岩性的地质环境中,并没有因其复杂的条件而改变土氡高异常值的基本特征,一般出现在断层面上或其附近。从而对确定断层位置、规模及其活动性的强弱能提供一定依据。火山地区断层气观测对于长白山火山群岩浆活动、构造活动、深震活动的监测与研究具有理论意义与实用价值。
【Abstract】 Through measurement and a preliminary analysis on the radon content in soil, it is found that the radon content in soil in the Tianchi volcanic area in the Changbai Mountain is of a certain regularity in spacial distribution. Although the measurement sites are arranged at different altitude and are geographically and geologically different in the landform and litho-logy, the basic characteristics of unusually high value distribution of radon on some fault surfaces and their vicinity are generally not influenced by such complex environs. On this bases, therefore, we can provide some information for inferring the location, extent and activity of faults. The observation of fault gas in the volcanic area is of theoretical and practical significance in monitoring and studying the magmatic activity, tectonic movement and seismi-city at depth in the group of volcanoes in the Changbai Mountain.
