【Abstract】 A prclimianary rcacarch on the mechanism of moltinism and pigmentation was carried out using MA, a local silkworm race in Madagascar as th test material. The results arc as follows:1) The genctic mechanism of moltinc of MA was a combination type of maternal influence and the embryonic gcnotypic interaction.2) There was linkage in the pnd-M of MA with the Knobbed (K, 11-3.2), a marker gene, and the crossover value was 24.26%.3) The egg colour of MA was controlled by the normal gene +w-3, which dominated over the gene white 2 (w-2, 10-16.1), and had nothing to do withpnd-M. It seems that diapause and pigmcntalion of the MA were controlled by two different genes.更多还原
